Independence Day HITEC Junior School
Pakistan celebrated the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence on 14th August,2022 with traditional zeal and fervor to commemorate the day when the country was declared an independent and sovereign state after a long struggle against the British colonial rule in 1947.
Independence Day was celebrated at HITEC Junior School with great enthusiasm as patriotism was in the air. The school was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons. Colourful event took place at Musharraf where all the students of grade III-V gathered to cherish the day. Students and teachers were dressed in green and white colour. They were wearing badges and holding Pakistan’s flag. Main event began with the name of Allah. Later, talented hitonian gave urdu and English speeches to pay tribute to the freedom fighters.
A heart-warming tableau was performed by junior hitonians to depict the struggle of independence from 1847 to 1947. National Songs became the voice of every heart as junior school choir chimed everyone’s favourite mili naghmy.
Principal Junior School also addressed the students and told them to work hard for a better, prosperous and peaceful future of Pakistan.
Cake was cut at the end. The beautiful event ended with the national anthem.
