Established in 1992 as an Intermediate College. Upgraded in 1995 as a Degree College. Affiliated with University of the Punjab. The College has separate wings, for boys & girls. Under HITEC Administration since Nov, 2019.

College Building and Facilities
The HITEC Degree College is located inside HIT Taxila Cantt. The College comprises of two campuses, housing boys and girls in different campuses, along with well-equipped laboratories for Intermediate as well as Degree Classes.

The College library has a sufficient stock of books and magazines along with newspapers to help students to inculcate healthy reading habits and to enhance their general knowledge. Efforts are continually made to add new books
Computer Laboratory: The College has a new laboratory fully equipped with the latest computers and network.
